Yesterday we covered the idea that Motivation moves in waves. One day we are motivated to work out, the next we are motivated to sleep in. One day we are motivated to eat healthy, the next day we crave McDonalds.
Motivation is just like many other things in our life. We need to shower, eat, breathe, and be active every day in order to live. In the same way, we need to find ways to spike our motivation each day.
What to do with Motivation today:
Think about what things/experiences/occasions have motivated you to take action. Some examples might be a movie you watched, a friend you talked to, a book or article you read etc. What was it about that experience that was motivating? Can you do something to recreate that sense of motivation each day?
If you rely on chance to motivate you, you will have many unmotivated days, however, if you can surround yourself with things that make you aspire to do the things you want deep down, then you will wake up ready for the opportunities ahead of you.
